Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water as needed

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve 1/2 cup of the water before draining.
  2. Season the diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in honey and simmer for one minute before adding heavy cream. Let it thicken slightly while stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, mix well to coat with sauce.
  7. Toss in drained pasta and use reserved water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
