  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional for heat
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • Naan bread
  • Steamed rice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken with salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, and curry powder. Set aside to marinate.
  2. Heat oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken until browned (8-10 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic and diced onion until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and sugar; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, add heavy cream, cayenne pepper (if desired), garam masala, and curry powder. Mix well.
  6. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
