  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (not natural)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 44 Whoppers (for decoration)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for legs)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, peanut butter, and vanilla extract; mix well.

  5. Form dough balls about 1 inch in diameter and roll in granulated sugar before placing on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

  8. Use cake decorating gel to add eyes on top of each Whopper spider body.
