  • 8 slices chicken bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • Pecans or walnuts, toasted (optional)
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 3 teaspoons apple vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, adjust to taste
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, with a few spoonfuls set aside for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Cut the iceberg lettuce into quarters and rinse under cold water; pat dry.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken bacon until crispy; crumble into pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together light sour cream, mayo, buttermilk, apple vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. On each plate, place a quarter of the lettuce and top with crumbled chicken bacon, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and optional nuts. Drizzle with dressing.
  5. Garnish with reserved blue cheese and serve immediately.
