  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough into the bottom of the prepared dish, pressing down evenly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Spread half of the cheesecake filling over the dough layer, then unroll the second package of dough on top. Pour remaining filling over it and add any leftover dough if desired.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously on top.
  7. Bake for about 28 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
