  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Cut olives for eyes and red bell pepper into forked tongues; set aside.
  3. Unroll pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into 12-inch ropes, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around wooden chopsticks or metal straws in a spiral shape.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  7. Add olive pieces on each snake's head for eyes.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before removing chopsticks.
  9. Finally, insert red pepper pieces into the flat ends for tongues.
