  • 3 tablespoons olive or avocado oil
  • 6 slices turkey bacon (diced)
  • 2 pounds brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook diced turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and toss in halved brussels sprouts with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 10-12 minutes until bright green with slight browning.
  3. Reduce heat to low; stir in crispy bacon, minced garlic, and balsamic vinegar. Cover and simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until tender.
